The love of cooking delicious food originates and runs in the blood of the Duran family. The fusion of many years of work experience from different international cooking kitchens produces the good fruit of dreams that comes to reality. Applying the different cooking styles and techniques the “Manila Grill Restaurant” is born.
The Manila Grill Restaurant was started in 2016 to 2019 in Dunedin New Zealand. The Duran family who owns and operates the business enjoyed serving fellow Filipinos who craved Filipino foods and other nationalities well.
In January 18 2019 they came to Christchurch and decided to purchase the restaurant business that Albert’s brother was running. Long story short, the Manilla Grill Restaurant is been operating in Christchurch New Zealand for about 2 years.
The family that works together, stays together. Albert is the head chef cook of Manila Grill, assisting with his sons and beautiful wife Ellen from preparation to cooking and taking out the food to their lovely and loyal dinners.
